Delete Account

Your data, your choice

We respect your right to control your data. If you'd like to delete your BachatAI account, this page explains what happens and how to request it.

1. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your BachatAI account, we permanently remove all of the following:

  • Your account profile and login credentials
  • All transaction history and expense data
  • Budgets, saving goals, and planned payments
  • AI chat history and saved formulas
  • Insights, streaks, and activity data
  • Gmail access permissions (also revoked from Google's side)

Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered. Please make sure you no longer need any of this information before proceeding.

2. What Happens to Your Subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Pro subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store before deleting your account to avoid being charged after deletion.

3. How to Delete Your Account

Option A: From the App

  • Open BachatAI
  • Go to Settings (tap the profile/gear icon)
  • Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  • Confirm your decision
  • Your account and all data will be scheduled for deletion

Option B: Via Email

If you cannot access the App, you can request account deletion by sending an email to support@bachatai.com from the email address associated with your BachatAI account. Include the following in your email:

  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Your registered email address
  • Confirmation that you understand all data will be permanently deleted

4. Processing Time

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. During this period:

  • Your account will be deactivated immediately (you will be logged out and unable to sign in)
  • All personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days
  • Some anonymised, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for analytics purposes

5. Revoking Gmail Access

When you delete your account, we revoke our access to your Gmail. However, for your peace of mind, you can also manually revoke access:

6. After Deletion

Once your account is fully deleted:

  • You will no longer be able to sign in to BachatAI with your previous credentials
  • None of your previous data can be recovered
  • You are free to create a new account at any time, but it will start fresh with no historical data
